Tessa Italasano – Fisilau has been dancing since the age of 3. She has been trained extensively in all disciplines. She trained most of her life at Pulse 31 and has been inspired by many teachers and choreographers throughout the years. She was involved with Odyssey’s production of “Thriller” at a young age and attended many national competitions and conventions where she won a variety of different scholarships. In high school, Tessa was a member of the Drill Team and was an All-State recipient. Following graduation, Tessa danced at Utah State University and began her teaching career by coaching the Logan High School Drill Team for two years. Tessa helped them to win a region and national title and a 3rd place finish at state. She also traveled during the summer months as a Dance Drill Instructor for United Spirit Association, taught at local studios in Cache Valley and graduated with her Bachelors in Public Relations. After College, Tessa accepted the Head Coach position for the Brighton Accaidans where she coached them for the last 8 years. Leading them to 5 region titles, numerous Top 5 finishes and was awarded the Gold Star Coach Award for 2021. Tessa is an accomplished choreographer and has choreographed for dance studios, drill teams and soloists all over the country. When Tessa is not teaching dance, she loves to spend time with her family. Her best accomplishment is being a mom to her three kids, Sano, Rocco and Honey.
