Nicole Egbert

Artistic Director/Dance Instructor

Nicole is passionate about mentoring through dance and leadership. She has found joy in supporting others and helping them recognize and reach their highest potential. She has been teaching at Hip Dance Co for 9 years, with a primary focus on our outstanding hip-hop teams. She brings 20+ years of diverse training as an experienced dancer, instructor, judge and choreographer.

She was a member of her high school dance company, president of the drill team and was team captain and choreographer of her college songleading and cheer squads. She was also a Harley Davidson Utah Blaze Dancer (AFL) from 2006-2008 and held the title of Captain there. Her choreography has been set for many teams at all levels most having received top awards
including Regional, State, and National titles. She was the drill team coach at Granger High School from 2001-2008 where she choreographed all competition routines earning Region and National titles multiple times. She has had the opportunity to work with dancers from SYTYCD, NBA and NFL dance teams, and has attended classes, conventions and events involving renowned choreographers across the country.

Nicole has most recently focused her attention toward training younger dancers and supporting her own daughters in their dance journey. She has found these particular outlooks to be extremely rewarding as she loves to see how eager young dancers are to learn and contribute to this beautiful world of dance!
