MaKayla has trained for seventeen years and is on her seventh year teaching at HIP. She has trained in multiple styles of dance including; Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Military, Character, Kick, and Tumbling. MaKayla has danced with multiple studios and instructors such as; Premiere Dance Academy, MC Dancers and our very own Hip Dance Company!
She was a member and officer for the 7 time State and National Championship Bingham High School Minerette Drill Team where she took part in winning region, state, and national titles. MaKayla was also a member of the Snow College dance team, the Badgerettes. She served as Vice President while earning her Associates degree. MaKayla graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies. Along with teaching dance, she works at AdRoll, a digital advertising tech company and enjoys spending her free time with her husband Parker Preator.
