Andie has danced since the age of two years old. She has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary. She started her training at Jennifer Hansens Premier Dance Academy, and then moved to Power Plus Academy where she danced competitively. She was also on the Drill Team for 4 years at Hunter High School, where she was an officer for two years, and Captain her senior year. Since graduating high school Andie has done choreography for a few different studios and schools. This is her first year here at Hip Dance Company, teaching dance has become one of Andie’s greatest passions and she enjoys watching her students not only grow as dancers but also as kind humans. Along with teaching dance, she works as a medical assistant at a pediatric office. Andie recently graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a Health emphasis. She is planning to apply for Medical School, in hopes of achieving her dream of becoming a Neonatologist. When not teaching, working, or studying Andie enjoys spending time with her dog, friends and family.
